٢٧١٩ ـ يحيى بن ياقوت بن عبد الله الحرمى البغدادى، شيخ الحرم، أبو الفرج: سمع من أبى القاسم إسماعيل السمرقندى «فضائل العباس» تأليفه، ومن أبى منصور عبد الجبار بن أحمد بن بونة ـ ويقال إنه آخر من حدث عنهما ـ ومن جماعة. وحدث ببغداد وبمكة. سمع منه جماعة من أهلها. وكان شيخ الحرم، ومعمارا مدة طويلة، ولذلك قيل له الحرمى، ثم عاد إلى بغداد، وبها توفى، فى الثامن والعشرين من جمادى الأولى، سنة اثنتى عشرة وستمائة، وذكر ما يدل على أن مولده، سنة خمس وعشرين. سمع منه أبو بكر بن عمر بن شهاب الصوفى، الآتى ذكره: «فضائل العباس» لحمزة السهمى. انتهى.
