٢٦٢٢ ـ هاشم بن على بن مسعود بن أبى سعد بن غزوان بن حسين القرشى الهاشمى، أبو على المكى، المعروف بابن غزوان: سمع فى كبره من محمد بن أحمد بن عبد المعطى، وغيره «صحيح البخارى» ورغبنا فى السماع إليه لأجل اسمه، فلم يقدّر لنا ذلك، وكان يعانى التجارة ويسافر لأجلها إلى اليمن، ثم ترك. وكان ذا خير وعبادة، وبلغنى أنه أقام أربعين سنة أو نحوها، لا يشرب إلا ماء زمزم، فى مدة مقامه فيها بمكة. وتوفى فى آخر يوم الاثنين الرابع عشر من ذى القعدة سنة ست عشرة وثمانمائة بمكة، ودفن بالمعلاة بقبر أخيه «حسين» وهو فى عشر التسعين، بتقديم التاء.
