٢١٢٧ ـ على بن مسعود بن أحمد بن على المكى، المعروف بالأزرق: كان من خدام السلطنة بمكة، كتب للشريف أحمد بن عجلان فى ديوانه، ولابنه أيضا، ولعنان فى ولايته الأولى، ثم توزّر له فى ولايته الثانية، ثم لعلىّ بن عجلان، ثم لأخيه حسن بن عجلان، ومات بإثر ذلك، فى آخر سنة ثمان وتسعين وسبعمائة، أو فى أول سنة سبع وتسعين بمكة، ودفن بالمعلاة عن نحو خمسين سنة، وكان يحفظ شعرا كثيرا، ويذاكر به.
