٢٠٧١ ـ على بن عبد الله بن على بن محمد بن عبد السلام بن أبى المعالى الكازرونىّ، أبو الحسن المكى، الملقّب نور الدين: مؤذّن الحرم الشريف. سمع من الرضىّ الطّبرىّ: سنن أبى داود وسنن النّسائى، وغير ذلك، عليه وعلى غيره، وما علمته حدّث. وذكر شيخنا ابن سكّر، أنه أجاز له. قال: وكان رجلا صالحا. انتهى. توفى ثالث جمادى الأولى سنة خمس وستين وسبعمائة بمكة، ودفن بالمعلاة، أخبرنى بوفاته، ولده بهاء الدين عبد الله بن علىّ، رئيس المؤذنين بالحرم الشريف، وأخبرنى أنه ولد فى سنة ثمان وسبعمائة بمكة.
