٢٠٤٤ ـ على بن أبى بكر بن محمد بن إبراهيم، تقى الدين أبو الحسن الطبرى المكى الشافعى: إمام المقام، وخطيب المسجد الحرام. سمع من يونس بن يحيى الهاشمى: صحيح البخارى، ومن زاهر بن رستم: جامع الترمذى، وسمعه على ابن أبى الصّيف، وغير ذلك. وسمع من أبى الحسن عبد اللطيف بن إسماعيل بن أبى سعد النيسابورى: جزء الأنصارى، أخبرنا القاضى أبو بكر. وحدّث. سمع منه المحّب الطبرى وجماعة. وتوفى فى سنة أربعين وستمائة فى أوائلها بمكة، كذا وجدت وفاته بخط القطب القسطلانى. ومولده يوم السبت وقت صلاة الظهر يوم عشر من شهر رجب، سنة ست وسبعين وخمسمائة. نقلت مولده من خط شيخنا ابن سكّر، وذكر أنه نقله من خطّ المحب الطبرى.
