١٩٥٢ ـ عثمان بن عامر بن عمرو بن كعب بن سعد بن تيم بن مرة القرشى التيمى المكى، أبو قحافة: والد أبى بكر الصديق رضى الله عنه. أسلم يوم الفتح. وكان رأسه ولحيته كالثّغامة، فأمر النبى ﷺ بتغييره بما عدا السواد، وهو أول مخضوب فى الإسلام، على ما قال قتادة. وتوفى سنة أربع عشرة بمكة، وهو ابن سبع وتسعين وسنة. وذكر الصاغانى: أنه توفى بعد ولده بستة أشهر وأيام، وردّ السّدس الذى ورثه منه على أولاده.
