١٨٨٦ ـ عبد الملك بن محمد بن عبد الملك بن عبد الله بن محمد بن محمد المرجانى المكى، سبط الشريف على الفاسى: سمع من: القاضى عز الدين بن جماعة ومحمد بن أحمد بن عبد المعطى، وغيرهما بمكة. ودخل القاهرة غير مرة، وحصل وظائف وصررا. وتوفى وهو قافل منها، فى أوائل ذى القعدة سنة ثمان وثمانين وسبعمائة، بأسفل عقبة أيلة، ودفن هناك.
