١٨٦٦ ـ عبد اللطيف بن محمد بن عبد الله بن على بن محمد بن عبد السلام ابن أبى المعالى الكازرونى المكى: سمع من عثمان بن الصفى، وتوفى فى تاسع عشر المحرم، سنة سبع وسبعين وسبعمائة بالقاهرة. ومولده فى سنة إحدى وأربعين. أخبرنى بمولده ووفاته: ابن عمه الرئيس بهاء الدين عبد الله بن على بن عبد الله، رئيس المؤذنين بالمسجد الحرام. وأخبرنى أنه كان اشتغل بعلم الفلك وفضل فيه، ورتب له معلوم على الأذان فى الجوالى فى الباب بالقاهرة. نزل له عنه عند موته.
