١٨٥٩ ـ عبد الكريم بن مخيط بن لحاف بن راجح بن أبى نمى الحسنى: كان من أعيان الأشراف، وتوجه فى سنة أربع وثمانين وسبعمائة إلى اليمن، فى جماعة من الأشراف، وخدموا عند الملك الأشرف صاحب اليمن: إسماعيل بن العباس، ثم فارقوه، وتوجهوا إلى صوب مكة، فعاثوا فى المحالب وملكوها، وقبضوا متوليها، وساروا إلى حرض، فلقيهم أمير يقال له: بهادر الشمسى، فقاتلهم. فقتل عبد الكريم هذا وغيره من الأشراف، وعادوا إلى مكة مفلولى الشوكة.
