١٨٥٢ ـ عبد الكريم بن محمد بن أحمد بن عطية بن ظهيرة، القرشى المخزومى المكى: كان شديد القوة والمشى والأكل. ويحكى عنه فى ذلك ما يستغرب، وهو أنه خرج من الطائف فى بكرة نهار، وهو حامل مائة رمانة، فوصل المعابدة ظاهر مكة وقت العصر، فسأل عن أهله، فأخبر أنهم بوادى مر، فذهب إليهم، ووصلهم وقت المغرب. ويحكى أنه أكل مدا مكيا من الدخن معروكا بسمن وتمر. وتوفى سنة ثلاث وأربعين وسبعمائة بمكة. ودفن بالمعلاة.
