١٧٥٩ ـ عبد الرحمن بن عثمان بن الصفى أحمد بن محمد بن إبراهيم بن أبى بكر الطبرى المكى، يلقب بالوجيه: ولد سنة اثنتى عشرة وسبعمائة بمكة، سمع من جده لأمه الرضى الطبرى: صحيح البخارى، وصحيح مسلم ـ وتعب فيه كثيرا ـ وجامع الترمذى، والملخص للقابسى،وغير ذلك، وعلى فاطمة بنت القطب القسطلانى [ .... ] (١) وحدث. سمع منه شيخنا عبد الله بن الطبرى بقراءته: الملخص، وغيره من شوخنا. وتوفى سنة اثنتين وستين وسبعمائة بمكة، ودفن بالمعلاة.
