١٧٥٣ ـ عبد الرحمن بن عبد الكريم بن هوازن بن عبد الملك، الشيخ أبو منصور ابن الأستاذ أبى القاسم القشيرى: ذكره الإسنائى فى طبقاته، وقال: «كان فاضلا، دينا، ورعا، يستوعب الوقت بالخلوة والتلاوة. سمع الكثير، وكتب الكثير، وخرجت له فوائد قرئت عليه، ولما توفيت والدته، الست الفاضلة فاطمة ـ يعنى بنت الأستاذ أبى علىّ الدقاق ـ سنة ثمانين ـ يعنى وأربعمائة ـ حج. وتوفى بمكة فى شعبان سنة اثنتين وثمانين، قاله ابن الصلاح. ووجدت فى حجر قبره، بالمعلاة أنه توفى فى سادس شعبان من السنة، وقبره بقرب قبر الفضيل بن عياض ﵀ عليه.
