١٧٠٣ ـ عبد الحق بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الحق المهدوى، أبو منصور المعروف بابن الحداد: واقف المدرسة التى بأسفل مكة، المعروفة بالأدارسة على طلبة المالكية بمكة، لأن فى الحجر الذى على بابها، أنه حبس هذه المدرسة ووقفها على طلبة المالكية المشتغلين بمذهب مالك بن أنس، المعتقدين له، حسب ما هو مذكور فى كتاب الحبس، بالشروط المذكورة فيه، فى العشر الأول من ربيع الآخر سنة ثمان وثلاثين وستمائة. ومن الحجر كتبت ما ذكرته، وترجم فيه: بالشيخ الصالح الأمين الورع.
