١٧٠١ ـ عبد الجبار بن يوسف بن صالح البغدادى: شيخ الفتوة، وحامل لوائها، ذكره ابن البزورى فى ذيل المنتظم. وذكر أنه تحلى بالعفة والدين وتفرد بالعصبية والمروءة وشرف النفس والأبوة. انقطع إلى عبادة الله تعالى، بموضع اتخذه لنفسه وبناه، فاستدعاه الإمام الناصر لدين الله ـ يعنى العباسى ـ إليه، فلذلك صار المعول عليه. وذكر أنه خرج حاجّا فى سنة ثلاث وثمانين وخمسمائة، فأدركه الأجل بالمعلاة، ودفن بها.
