١٦٩٨ ـ عبد الجبار بن إبراهيم بن أبى عمرو عبد الوهاب بن أبى عبد الله محمد بن إسحاق بن مندة العبدى، أبو نصر الأصبهانى: شيخ الحرم، سمع جده أبا عمرو، وعم أبيه أبا القاسم، وببغداد من أبى الخطاب بن البطر، وأبى عبد الله الحسين بن طلحة النعالى، وحدث. روى عنه أبو موسى المدينى، وقال: شيخ الحرم سنين عديدة، وقدم علينا سنة عشرين وخمسمائة، كما قال الذهبى، فى تاريخ الإسلام. قال: ومولده فى ربيع الأول سنة ثمان وستين وأربعمائة، فعلى هذا يكون سماعه على عم أبيه حضورا.
