١٦٩٣ ـ عبيد الله بن محمد بن يزيد بن خنيس المخزومى، أبو يحيى المكى: روى عن أبيه، وإسماعيل بن أبى أويس. روى عنه: مسلم، وعبد الكريم الديرعاقولى، وعبد الله بن محمود، خال أبى الشيخ، وأبو العباس محمد بن إسحاق السراج، وغيرهم. وقال: يكنى أبا يحيى. مات سنة ثنتين وخمسين ومائتين. وخنيس: بخاء معجمة ونون، وبالمثناة من تحت وسين مهملة. يستفاد مع حبيش، بحاء مهملة وبالمثناة من تحت وشين معجمة، عرفه بذلك.
