١٥٦٣ ـ عبد الله بن عبد الجبار بن عبد الله الأموى العثمانى، أبو محمد: التاجر البزاز الكارمى الإسكندرى، أصله من شاطبة (١)، ولد بالإسكندرية وتديرها. وسمع بها من السلفى وغيره، وبمصر من منجب المرشدى. وحدث بالإسكندرية، ومصر، والصعيد، واليمن. سمع منه المنذرى. وذكره فى التكملة، ومنها كتبت هذه الترجمة. وذكر أن شيخه الحافظ أبا الحسن على بن المفضل المقدسى، يعظمه، ويثنى عليه كثيرا. وتوفى شهيدا ـ على ما قيل ـ فى رابع عشرى ذى الحجة سنة أربع عشرة وستمائة بمكة. ومولده فى رمضان سنة أربع وأربعين وخمسمائة.
