١٤٨٠ ـ عبد الله بن أحمد بن محمد بن قفل الزيادى الحضرمى المكنى بأبى قفل: ذكره السبكى فى طبقاته، وقال: قال المطرى ـ يعنى العفيف ـ: تفقه وكتب الكثير بخطه: وكان رجلا صالحا، وقف كتبه بمكة، ومولده فى عشر رمضان سنة تسع وخمسين وخمسمائة بمكة، ومات عشية الأحد، لست عشرة ليلة خلت من ذى القعدة سنة إحدى وثلاثين وستمائة بمكة.
