١٣٣٤ ـ سليمان بن شاذى بن عبد الله الأزجىّ، أبو الربيع المقرئ: إمام الحنابلة بالحرم الشريف، ذكره ابن الدبيثى فى تاريخ بغداد، وذكر أنه من أهلباب الأزج، وأنه قرأ القرآن الكريم، وتفقه على مذهب الإمام أحمد بن حنبل، قدم مكة وأقام بها مدة، وأم الناس فى مقام الحنابلة بالحرم الشريف، بعد وفاة محمد بن عبد الله الهروى، ثم عاد إلى العراق، وخرج عن بغداد قاصدا الشام فى سنة ثمان وستمائة، فبلغ حرّان، فتوفى بها فى هذه السنة، فيما بلغنا، والله أعلم. انتهى.
