١٣٢٥ ـ سلمة بن هشام بن المغيرة بن عبد الله بن عمر بن مخزوم المخزومى: أسلم قديما، وهاجر إلى الحبشة، ثم قدم مكة، فاحتبس بها عن الهجرة إلى المدينة، وعذب فى الله. وكان النبى ﷺ، يدعو له ولمن معه من المستضعفين، ولم يشهد بدرا وشهد مؤته. وكان لحق النبى ﷺ بعد الخندق، وأقام بالمدينة حتى توفى النبى ﷺ، ثم خرج إلى الشام غازيا، فقتل بمرج الصّفّر، فى المحرم سنة أربع عشرة، وقيل بأجنادين سنة ثلاث عشرة، قبل موت الصديق رضى الله عنه وكان من خيار الصحابة وفضلائهم، رضى الله عنهم.
