١٣١٥ ـ سلطان بن الحسن الحسينى، واسمه محمد، وإنما اشتهر بالشريف سلطان: ولذلك ذكرناه هنا. كان من أعيان مشيخة العجم، المجاورين بمكة. وله خط حسن على طريقة العجم، مع حسن الهيئة، جاور بمكة سنين كثيرة، متأهلا فيها بابنة يوسف القروىّ. وبها توفى فى أثناء سنة ثلاث وتسعين، ودفن بالمعلاة. وقد بلغ الستين فيما أظن، أو جاوزها.
