    ١٣١٣ ـ سفيان بن معمر بن حبيب الجمحى، أخو جميل بن معمر، يكنى أبا جابر، وقيل أبا جنادة: وهما ابنان له، هاجر بهما إلى الحبشة، وماتوا جميعا فى خلافة عمر، وانقطع نسلهم على ما ذكر الزبير بن بكار.وذكر ابن إسحاق: أن سفيان هذا، رجل من الأنصار، من بنى زريق تبناه معمر بن حبيب، فغلب على نسبه، والله أعلم.
