١٢٢٥ ـ زيد بن ربيعة، وقيل زمعة القرشى الأسدى، من بنى أسد بن عبد العزى: استشهد يوم حنين. قاله عروة بن الزبير. وقال ابن إسحاق: هو زيد بن زمعة بن الأسود بن المطلب بن أسد، وإنما قتل [ ..... ] (١) فرس يقال له الجناح، فقتل. أخرجه ابن مندة وأبو نعيم. ذكره هكذا ابن الأثير. وفى كتابه الذى نقلت منه تصحيف كتبته كما ترى؛ لأنه لم يتحرر لى، وأظن أنه سقط من النسخة شئ، وأن الصواب فى ذلك «لأنه جمع به فرس» والله أعلم.
