    ١١٨٦ ـ ربيعة بن أمية بن خلف الجمحى: ذكره هكذا ابن الأثير؛ وقال: روى حديثه يونس بن بكير، عن ابن إسحاق، من روايته عن يحيى بن عباد، عن عبد الله بن الزبير، عن أبيه عباد، قال: كان ربيعة بن أمية ابن خلف الجمحى، هو الذى يصرخ يوم عرفة، تحت لبّة ناقة رسول الله ﷺ؛ وكان صيتا. وكان يصرخ بما يقوله له رسول الله ﷺ، فى تحريم الدماء والأموال، الحديث المشهور، وقال: أخرجه ابن مندة، وأبو نعيم. انتهى بالمعنى. وذكر ذلك كله أيضا الذهبى. وقال: قال ابن المسيب: إن عمر ـ رضى الله عنه ـ غرّب ربيعة بن أمية فى الخمر إلى خيبر، فلحق بهرقل، فتنصر، فقال عمر ـ رضى الله عنه: لا غرّبت بعده أحدا أبدا. رواه معمر عن الزهرى عنه.
