١١٨٢ ـ رباح بن أبى معروف بن أبى سارة المكى: روى عن عبد الله بن أبى مليكة، وعطاء بن أبى رباح، وقيس بن سعد المكى، ومجاهد، وأبى الزبير المكى، ومغيرة بن حكيم. روى عنه سفيان الثورى، وابن أبى فديك، وأبو داود الطيالسى، وأبو نعيم، ووكيع، وغيرهم. روى له البخارى فى الأدب، ومسلم (١)، وأبو داود فى المراسيل والنسائى (٢). ضعفهابن معين والنسائى. وقال أبو زرعة وأبو حاتم: صالح. وقال ابن حبان: كان ممن الغالب عليه التثبت ولزوم الورع والاجتهاد والعبادة. وكان يهم فى الشيء بعد الشئ. انتهى. ورباح: بباء موحدة؛ لأن ابن الأثير، ذكره فى باب الراء والباء، ثم عقّبه بربعىّ.
