    ١١٤٧ ـ خنيس بن خالد، وهو الأشعر الخزاعى الكعبى: ذكره ابن عبد البر، ورفع فى نسبه أكثر من هذا، وقال: هكذا قال فيه إبراهيم بن سعد وسلمة جميعا عن أبى إسحاق: خنيس ـ بالخاء المنقوطة ـ وغيرهما يقول: حنيش بالحاء والشين المنقوطة، وقد ذكرناه فى الحاء. انتهى. وذكره ابن الأثير بمعنى هذا. وقد تقدم فى الحاء المهملة. ذكره هكذا ابن عبد البر، وقال: لم يذكروه فى الصحابة، ولا أعلم له رواية. انتهى.
