١١٤٦ ـ خنيس بن حذافة بن قيس بن عدى بن سعد بن سهم السهمى: كان من المهاجرين الأولين، شهد بدرا وأحدا، ونالته بأحد جراحات، فمات منها بالمدينة. وكان تزوج حفصة بنت عمر، قبل النبى ﷺ، وهو من مهاجرة الحبشة. ذكره بمعنى هذا ابن عبد البر، وابن الأثير، وقال: كان من السابقين إلى الإسلام، وذكر أنه أخو عبد الله بن حذافة. وذكره الذهبى، وقال: له هجرتان.
