١٠٦٣ ـ الحكم بن أبى العاص بن بشير بن دهمان الثقفى، أخو عثمان بن أبى العاص، يكنى أبا عثمان، وأبا عبد الملك: ولى البحرين لعمر رضى الله عنه عن أخيه عثمان، وذلك أن أخاه عثمان ولاه، فمر على عمان والبحرين، فوجه أخاه الحكم على البحرين وافتتحا فتوحا كثيرة فى العراق، فى سنة تسع عشرة، وفى سنة عشرين. وهو معدود فى البصريين. ومنهم من يجعل أحاديثه مرسلة. ذكره بمعنى هذا ابن عبد البر وابن الأثير.
