١٠٥٤ ـ الحصين بن عبيد بن خلف بن عبد نهم الخزاعى: والد عمران بن حصين. اختلف فى إسلامه، وحديث إسلامه فى «اليوم والليلة» للنسائى، من رواية ولده عمران بن حصين عنه. وفيه أنه أتى النبى ﷺ فقال: يا محمد، عبد المطلب كان خيرا لقومه منك (١)، الحديث. قال المزى: وهو المحفوظ. وقيل: إنه مات مشركا، والله أعلم. انتهى. وذكره الذهبى فى التجريد. وقال: ذكره الثلاثة.
