١٠٣٥ ـ الحسين بن عبد الرحمن بن على بن الحسين بن على الشيبانى الطبرى، شرف الدين أبو البركات: قاضى الحرمين. وجدت خطه على مكتوب ثبت عليه بمبيع تاريخه شعبان سنة تسع وخمسين وخمسمائة، فلا أدرى هل هذه السنة ابتداء ولايته أو لا؟ ولا هل ولى بعد أبيه عبد الرحمن بن على أو لا؟ . ووجدت خطه على مكتوب بمبيع مؤرخ بالعشر الأواخر من شوال سنة إحدى وسبعين وخمسمائة، فلا أدرى هل هذه السنة آخر ولايته أم لا؟ وهل استمر من سنة تسع وخمسين إليها؟ . والله أعلم. وغالب القضاة الشيبانيين يكتبون بخطهم، ويكتب لهم: قاضى الحرمين، فلا أدرى هل وليوا القضاء بالحرمين أو القضاء بمكة، وقولهم: الحرمين، مبالغة. والله أعلم.
