١٠٣٠ ـ الحسين بن إدريس بن عبد الكريم الغيقى، أبو على المصرى: سمع من سلمة بن شبيب وغيره. وتوفى بمكة فى شهر رمضان من سنة اثنتى عشرة وثلاثمائة. والغيقى ـ بغين معجمة وياء مثناة من تحت وقاف ـ نسبة إلى غيقة: قرية من قرى مصر. ذكره ابن يونس فى تاريخ مصر، وغيقة بهذا الضبط، مكان جاء ذكره فى حديث أبى قتادة لما اصطاد فى طريق مكة، وهو بقرب بدر، المكان الذى كانت فيه الوقعة، التى أعز الله تعالى فيها الإسلام.
