٩١٦ ـ جندب بن جخيدب بن لحاف بن راجح بن أبى نمى الحسنى المكى: كان من أعيان الأشراف، شجاعا مقداما. وبلغنى أنه لما شهد يوم الزبارة، كان متقلدا سيفين، وخرق صف أعدائه مرتين، ثم قتل فى المعركة فى اليوم المذكور. وذلك كان فى يوم الثلاثاء خامس عشرى شوال سنة ثمان وتسعين وسبعمائة، عن نحو ثلاثين سنة.
