٨٩٥ ـ جعفر بن علبة ـ بالباء الموحدة ـ بن ربيعة المذحجى: ذكره صاحب الجمهرة، وذكر أنه كان شاعرا. وقتل صبرا فى الإسلام بمكة. ادعت عليه بنو عقيل أنه قتل منهم رجلا وأقسم على ذلك خمسون من بنى عقيل فقتلوه، وذلك فى صدر دولة السفاح.
