٧٩٩ ـ إقبال بن عبد الله الحبشى، أبو عمرو القزوينى المكى: سمع من أبى الحسن بن المقير: سنن أبى داود، بقراءة المحب الطبرى، سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وستمائة. وحدث بها بقراءة ابن عبد الحميد، فى مجالس آخرها فى رجب أو شعبان، سنة سبع وثمانين وستمائة. ولم أدر متى مات، غير أنا استفدنا حياته فى هذا التاريخ، وهو من شيوخ أبى حيان بالإجازة. ونقل عنه ما يدل على أن مولده فى سنة أربع أو خمس وستمائة. انتهى. وهو ممن جاور بمكة سنين كثيرة، وأظنه مات بها.
