٧٨٢ ـ إسماعيل بن مسلم بن سلمان الإربلى، أبو محمد، وأبو على، وأبو أيوب، وهو بهذه أشهر: سمع ببغداد: أبا الفضل محمد بن عمر الأرموى، وأبا العباس أحمد بن المبارك المرقعاتى، وأبا القاسم يحيى بن ثابت بن بندار، وأحمد بن المقرب، وغيرهم، وكان شيخا صالحا متدينا ظريفا خيرا. توفى بمكة، وكان قدمها فى السنة التى توجه فيها الوزير رئيس الرؤساء إلى بغداد، ولم يعد إلى بغداد. ذكره ابن المستوفى فى تاريخ إربل، ومنه لخصت هذه الترجمة.
