٧٧٥ ـ إسماعيل بن محمد بن إسماعيل بن أبى بكر بن محمد بن إبراهيم الطبرى، أبو يحيى، وأبو محمد المكى: سمع من ابن أبى حرمى: صحيح البخارى، ومن ابن الجميزى: الثقفيات. وحدث بالأول منها بقراءة المحدث رافع بن هجرس، فى العشر الأول من ذى الحجة سنة تسع وثمانين وستمائة بالحرم الشريف. سمعه منه المحدث شمس الدين محمد بن إبراهيم بن المهندس. ولم أدر متى مات، غير أنى وجدت رسم شهادته بخطه، فى مكتوب يتضمن إذنا من القاضى تقى الدين عبد الله بن المحب الطبرى خطيب مكة، بتاريخ شوال سنة تسع وستمائة. فاستفدنا من هذا حياته فى هذا التاريخ.
