٧٦٧ ـ إسماعيل بن سالم الصائغ، أبو محمد البغدادى: نزيل مكة، روى عن إسماعيل بن علية، وإسحاق بن يوسف الأزرق، وأبى خالد الأحمر، وعبيد الله بن موسى، وهشيم بن بشير، ويحيى بن زكريا بن أبى زائدة، ويزيد ابن هارون، ويونس المؤدب. روى عنه مسلم، والبخارى، فى غير الجامع، وابنه محمد بن إسماعيل الصائغ الكبير، ويعقوب بن سفيان الفسوى، وأحمد بن داود المكى، ومحمد بن على بن زيد الصائغ الصغير المكى، ومحمد بن إسحاق بن العباس الفاكهى. وذكره ابن حبان فى الثقات.
