٧٠٤ ـ إبراهيم بن عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم بن سعد الله بن جماعة الكنانى، يلقب بالبرهان، ويعرف بابن جماعة المقدسى: سمع من أحمد بن عساكر: جزء ابن خزيمة، والماسرجسى، ومن الرضى بن خليل: الثالث من مسلسلات ابن مسدى عنه. وحدثنا عنه بمنتخب من ذلك، شيخنا أحمد بن عثمان الخليلى، السابق ذكره، وبالجزئين الأولين بعض مشايخنا المصريين. وذكر ابن سند: أنه توفى بعد أن ثقل سمعه فى ذى الحجة سنة أربع وستين وسبعمائة ببيت المقدس. وذكر أنه جاور بمكة والمدينة، وبيت المقدس مدة سنين، وأنه كان ذا حظ من الخير. انتهى. وهو عم القاضى عز الدين بن جماعة الآتى ذكره.
