٦٣٥ ـ أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الله النفطى المدنى، يلقب بالشهاب: كان أمينا على بعض حواصل الحرم النبوى ولخدام الحرم، وله ملاءة وأولاد بالمدينة، تردد منها إلى مكة للحج مرات، منها فى سنة عشر وثمانمائة فى أثناء السنة، وأقام بها إلى أن خرج إلى الحج، ثم توفى بمنى بعد وقوفه بعرفة فى أيام التشريق من هذه السنة، ودفن بالمعلاة. وقد بلغ الستين، فيما أظن، سمع بالمدينة من قاضيها بدر الدين بن الخشاب.
