٥٦٩ ـ أحمد بن عبد الله بن عياض المكى: ذكر أبو حاتم: أنه يروى عن عبد الرزاق، ومؤمل بن إسماعيل، وإسماعيل بن عبد الكريم. وقال: سألت أبى عنه، فقال: شيخ قدم علينا فكان يقص وكان حافظا، حدث بأحاديث منكرة. كتب عنه أبى، وقال أبى: كانت له مناكير. لخصت هذه الترجمة من لسان الميزان لصاحبنا الحافظ أبى الفضل العسقلانى، أمتع الله بحياته. وهذا الكتاب اختصر فيه الميزان للذهبى، وزاد عليه زيادات فى أثناء التراجم، وزيادات بتراجم مستقلة، وهو كتاب بديع.
