٥٣١ ـ أحمد بن جعفر المعقرى، أبو الحسن البزاز: نزيل مكة، معقر ناحية من اليمن. روى عن إسماعيل بن عبد الكريم الصنعانى، وسعيد بن بشير، وقيس بن الربيع الأسدى، والنضر بن محمد الجرشى اليمامى. روى عنه مسلم بن الحجاج القشيرى، ومحمد بن أحمد بن زهير الطوسى، والمفضل بن محمد الجندى، ومحمد بن إسحاق بن العباس الفاكهى المكى. ذكر هذا كله من حاله المزى فى التهذيب. كان حيّا فى سنة خمس وخمسين ومائتين.
