٤٩٢ ـ محمد بن يوسف بن على بن محمود بن أبى المعالى، النزارى نسبا الصبرى بلدا، قاضى تعز: كان ذا فضل فى الفقه والنحو واللغة، والحديث، والتفسير والقراءات السبع والفرائض. درس بالغرابية، ثم بالمظفرية الكبرى. وكان كثير الصلاح والورع والعبادة، ساعيا فى قضاء حوائج الناس. حج فى سنة اثنتين وأربعين وسبعمائة، مع الملك المجاهد صاحب اليمن. فتوفى فى آخر يوم عرفة من هذه السنة شهيدا مبطونا، وغسل بمنى، ودفن بالأبطح.
