٤٩٠ ـ محمد بن يوسف بن إدريس بن مفرج بن غانم الشيبى المكى: شيخ الحجبة، وفاتج الكعبة. ولى ذلك كما ذكر لى غير واحد، بعد يحيى بن على بن بحير الشيبى. وتوفى سنة تسع وأربعين وسبعمائة. انتهى. ووجدت بخط شيخنا ابن سكر، أنه توفى فى جمادى الأولى من السنة، وقد أجاز له فى سنة ثلاث عشرة: الدشتى، والقاضى سليمان بن حمزه، وابن مكتوم، وابن عبد الدايم، والمطعم، وجماعة، باستدعاء البرزالى وغيره. وما علمت له سماعا.
