٤١٨ ـ محمد بن محمد بن عمر الهندى، الكابلى الحنفى: جاور بمكة مدة حتى مات بها، وسمع بها على الفخر التوزرى، والقاضى عز الدين ابن جماعة، سنة ثلاث وخمسين وسبعمائة. وذكر لى والدى أنه كان يؤم بمقام الحنفية عن أبى الفتح الحنفى، وأنه حكم بمكة فى وقائع، نيابة عن جدى القاضى أبى الفضل النويرى، منها: فى سنة اثنتين وسبعين وسبعمائة. وسألت عنه شيخنا القاضى جمال الدين بن ظهيرة. قال: كان شيخا مباركا، كتب بخطه كثيرا ووقف جملة. وكان يسكن برباط السدرة، وكان ينوب عن أبى الفتح الحنفى فى الإمامة، ومات قبله بمكة. انتهى.
