٤٠٣ ـ محمد بن محمد بن عبد الله بن محمد بن أبى المكارم، يلقب بالجمال بن الضياء الحموى المكى: سمع من الفخر عثمان بن الصفى: السنن لأبى داود، ومن الجمال إبراهيم بن محمد ابن النحاس الدمشقى: مشيخة العشارى، ومن الشيخ خليل المالكى، ومحمد بن صالح الحضرمى، وغيرهم. وما علمته حدث. وسافر إلى بلاد العجم وغيرها طلبا للرزق، وحصل دنيا، وذهبت منه مرات، وتعلل بعدها حتى مات فى محرم سنة ثمان وثمانين وسبعمائة بمكة، ودفن بالمعلاة. أفادنى وفاته، ولده صاحبنا الوجيه عبد الرحمن.
