٣١٣ ـ محمد بن على بن زيد الصائغ، أبو عبد الله المكى، محدث مكة: ذكره ابن حبان فى الطبقة الرابعة من الثقات، فقال: يروى عن أبى نعيم، وأحمد بن شبيب. روى عنه الحجازيون. انتهى. وذكر ابن نقطة فى «التقييد»: أنه حدث عن سعيد بن منصور الخراسانى بسننه، وأن دعلج بن أحمد السجزى، رواها عنه، قال: توفى سنة إحدى وتسعين ومائتين فى ربيعها الأول. وحكى ابن نقطة عن الدارقطنى: أنه قرأ بخط أبى جعفر الطحاوى، أنه توفى فى النصف الأول من ذى القعدة.وجزم الذهبى فى «العبر»، بوفاته فى ذى القعدة، وقال: وهو فى عشر المائة.
