٢٥٤ ـ محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن محمد بن أبى عبد الرحمن عبد الله ابن يزيد المقرى، أبو يحيى المكى: ذكره الحافظ رشيد الدين المنذرى فى «مختصره لتاريخ المسبحى». وذكر أنه توفى فى يوم الأحد لسبع بقين من ذى القعدة سنة أربع وأربعين وثلاثمائة بمكة، قال: وكان أحد مشايخها، مقبول الشهادة، معروفا بالأمانة عند القضاة وغيرهم. وكان يحدث عن على بن عبد العزيز، بكتاب القراءات لأبى عبيد، وكان عنده، عن محمد بن على الصايغ الصغير وغيره.
