٢٤٤ ـ محمد بن عبد الله الشاطبى، ويكنى أبا عبد الله: كان رجلا صالحا جليلا. ذكره القطب القسطلانى فى «ارتقاء الرتبة» وقال: كان كثير الخدمة للفقراء، والإيثار لهم. وجاور بمكة فى آخر عمره حتى مات بها. ولم يذكر له وفاة. توفى يوم الثلاثاء الثالث من شهر ربيع الآخر سنة ثلاث وثلاثين وستمائة بمكة، ودفن بالمعلاة. نقلت وفاته واسم أبيه من حجر قبره، وترجم بالشيخ الصالح السعيد الشهيد.
