١٨٥ ـ محمد بن سيف بن أبى نمى محمد بن أبى سعد حسن بن على بن قتادة الحسنى، المكى: كان من أعيان الأشراف آل أبى نمى، وأقربهم نسبا إليه قبل موته بعشر سنين؛ فإنه لم يكن بينه وبين أبى نمى إلا والده سيف. ودخل العراق طلبا للرزق، ولم ينل طائلا، وعرض له بأخرة بياض. ومات فى جمادى الأولى سنة ست وعشرين وثمانمائة بمكة. ودفن بالمعلاة. وهو فى عشر السبعين ظنا.
