١٥٨ ـ محمد بن حطاب بن الحارث بن عمر الجمحى: ولد قبل خروج أبيه إلى الحبشة، وخرج به معه إليها، ثم أتى به منها عمه حاطب ابن الحارث؛ لأن أباه مات بطريق الحبشة. قال الذهبى: ولعله أول من سمى فى الإسلام محمدا. وقبل ذلك ابن عمه محمد بن حاطب، وحطاب ـ بالحاء المهملة ـ على ما ذكر الأكثرون. وقيل: بالخاء المعجمة. ذكره الكاشغرى، وهو أسن من ابن عمه محمد بن حاطب، المتقدم ذكره.
